Indications – The Skil-Care Padded Plus Mitts are recommended for use with a patient who:
- Removes bandages and dressings
- Picks and scratches at wounds
- Grasps and pulls out feeding and naso-gastric tubes
These extra padded mitts limit picking, scratching, the ability to grab tubes and bruising other residents. They also limit the hand range-of-motion when the extra tie strap is used.
